The Elemental Academy
Seventeen-year-old Lyra Vale has spent her entire life hiding the strange things that happen around her. Water rises when she is angry. Windows frost when she is afraid. Flames bend toward her hands, and the earth seems to move beneath her feet. Then she is accepted into Meridian Academy, a secret school hidden inside the modern city where gifted students learn to command Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. But Lyra is different. Most students can control one element. A rare few can control two. Lyra can control all four. At first, the academy calls her a miracle. Then they discover an ancient prophecy. And suddenly, everyone begins wondering whether Lyra was chosen to save their world-or destroy it.
